I have a full team creating documents on a communication page at SharePoint. How can I default the file where all of there documents are saved?

I believe I can find all of the documents under Page Sites but I am not able to move them to another location.

The end result I want, is to use a Hero tiles that would link directly to all of the documents they created.

    Dear Roaa Ahmad Kawatharani,

    Good day!!

Apologies for the inconvenience caused and please don’t worry, let’s work together on your concern and move towards a resolution path.

I understand your concern and to my knowledge, Hero webpart in the SharePoint Online will help you to add the links with the images that will help you to redirect to the destination to which it’s linked.

Moreover, the files inside the Pages Library are not the documents where they are called as Pages with aspx format, and it can’t be moved or copied to the different document library. By default, you will be able to create Office files such as Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, Excel workbooks, OneNote Notebooks in the Document Library and Page Library is for storing the pages or news posts.

So, if you want to creation of Office files to be stored directly into the Document Library, you need to add the Document Library links in the Hero webpart where the creation of the files will be stored in the Document Library. Reference: Use the Hero web part - Microsoft Support

To my recommendation instead of using Hero webpart, you can directly use the Document Library webpart and select the library as per your requirement. Reference: Use the Document Library web part - Microsoft Support

If there is any misunderstanding or confusion, we are sorry and please feel free to post back to us with more detailed information and some screenshots for better understanding and guiding you further.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

    Best Regards,

    Sophia
