Microsoft 365 F1 - Licensing

Hi everyone,

we think about to bring up our frontline workers up in the Microsoft 365 cosmos.

We like to setup all workers with M365 F1 user based license. They don‘t need E-Mailing or write Access with office applications.

For a correct licensing there are some questions which we like to clarify.

  1. The workers should use Windows workstations with group accounts to logon in windows. Windows 10/11 Enterprise is licensed by Device CAL through Volume licesing. Is this from license view ok?
  2. If we don‘t need the features out of windows Enterprise can we use devices which are licensed by windows professional?
  3. Is Microsoft Teams also restricted by the Screen size of 10.9 inch? Or is it allowed to use Microsoft teams as local installed application on those workstations if all workers are licensed by F1?
  4. Can we use intune (out of F1 License) to manage this windows workstations?

thanks in advance
