HELP!

Table in Word will not move, I have checked text wrapping and have changed it from 'Around' to 'None', it keeps changing back to 'Around' automatically.

Still, the table refuses to move!

I agree with Stefan... A shared file would be most helpful. The snippets really don't reveal much but I doubt that a shot of the entire document would do much better. However, I don't believe it has anything to do with White Space because a gap representing a Page Break is displayed between pages in your last screen shot.

One thing I do notice is that the table has been moved to the top edge of a page which means that it overlaps the Header area. That can cause issues similar to what you're having. To put things back on an even keel try this:

    1. Click in the table then go to Table> Table Properties
    2. On the Table page click the Positioning button
      1. Confirm Horizontal is set to Left Relative to Margin
      2. Set Vertical to Top Relative to Margin

If the table still flows to another page try reducing the document Margins or reducing the overall Height of the table.

    Thank you @HansV and @Stefan,

This still doesn't work, it's one of the first things I tried. It just moves it completely out of the page so that I cannot type anything above it, then it won't move further down!!!! please see screenshot attached!!!

    Hi Stefan,

Thank you so much for your help, I have attached what happens when I split the table as you suggested, I also do not have any header or footer, and also have my margins set to narrow, I'm at a loss!

If you drag the little table "handler" Image to move the table, Word changes the Text Wrapping to "Around."

If you prefer to turn off the Text Wrapping and keep it turned off, you can use cut and paste to move the table instead.

Put the insertion point at the very beginning of the first cell and then split the table; Word will insert a blank paragraph above the table. You can add content there.

In addition, although it is difficult to tell from your screen shot, it is possible that the header/footer area is hidden, because the so-called white space between pages is hidden.
