Hi, I am looking to set up a home network with a desktop and laptop. I will be using different versions of 0365.

The desktop has O365 for home and i'm setting up the laptop with O365 for business. Can I set them up as a home network so that I can access the different versions of O365 on each computer?

I read an article that you can use O365 for home on a system with O365 for business.

Would appreciate any help.

Thanks

Hey there, my name is Ajibola and I'm excited to help you today!

it is possible to install and use different versions of O365 on the same PC, but there are some tips and limitations you should be aware of. For example, you should install the earlier version of O365 first, and make sure all versions are either 32-bit or 64-bit. You can’t have a mix of both.

However, you may still encounter some issues when you use two versions of O365 on the same PC, such as file associations, default programs, and licensing conflicts. If you decide not to keep both versions and uninstall the earlier version, you might need to repair the version remaining to make sure that everything works correctly.
