My workplace has an Azure account/services. I am beginning my Azure journey for personal learning and testing. Can I use my workplace account to create a personal subscription without screwing anything up? It would just be nice to have only one Azure portal logon.

Did you mean, you work for a company ABC and you login to azure with yourid@jaswant .com where you work on subscription created by company? and you want to play around resources in this account, subscription?

If yes, It depends on your admin. It's better to inform him saying if you can create some test resources for learning.

You will have to be careful while creating the resources.

If you create resources like - Virtual machine, SQL DB, SQL Data warehouse, Azure synapse pools etc.. This will cost you (company) a lot

Other option is you can create a personal subscription with one month free trial and use it for learning.
