IMAGE function gone! How do I get it back

Hi, at work we have built multiple excel reports/dashboards using the IMAGE function (inserting url image inside a cell box - not floating on top). It works wonderfully! however, there seemed to have been a semi-annual enterprise channel version update that now the IMAGE function has completely gone! Will this come back, do you know when or do you know how I can revert back to the previous version?

My version: Version 2302 (Build 16130.20810)

The IMAGE function is not part of the 2308 version of Microsoft 365 and Office.

The Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel typically receives updates every six months, so it is likely that the IMAGE function will be included in a future update.

Is the IMAGE function part of 2308?
If not, when will IMAGE function be released as part of Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel?
Background is my company only wants to use Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel, and they want every employee using same with no exceptions

You may let your admin to change the update channel to current channel.

I have the same question and btw the release notes for the Semi-Annual enterprise channel are super confusing. It would be helpful if it mentioned the year of release. Also for 2308 which presumably was released just a few days ago January 09 2024? there is no mention of the IMAGE function as being added to excel - so is it there or not, just wondering while I wait for my company to roll this version out

Image function is released on December 06 on Current channel.

You may wait the next update in second Tuesday in January.

New, or updated, features are released in Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel twice a year, on the second Tuesday in January and July.
