Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
Hello Sophia
Strangely, cheating with the percentage column has made the trick, I don't have instance error anymore.
Thanks a lot.

Hello
I have created a list. I can edit items one by one, but when I try to edit in grid view, I get this blocking message on one item, preventing the list to be saved:
"instance is read-only"
How can I solve that?
Regards

Good morning Sophia
Thanks for the responsivity :)
No, I'm not attaching any element.
I tried both by pasting data from Excel or filling each cell one by one, any new row created produces the same error.
I don't know if there is a link, but have posted another thread, accessible here:
Microsoft Lists / "Required info": cell is not updated in list or grid - Microsoft Community

Dear LauGCG,
Good day!!
Apologies for the inconvenience caused and please don't worry, lets work together on your concern and move towards a resolution path.
I understand your concern and to my knowledge, the error you encountered in the Grid view of the Microsoft List or SharePoint Online list will be encountered when edited the Attachments column.
So, I would like to confirm whether you are trying to edit the attachment column in the list. If yes, then behavior you are encountering is by design because attachment column is not supported for editing in the Grid view.
If not, can you please share the column you are trying to edit in the Grid View?
Thanks for your patience and understanding. Have a good day!!
Best Regards,
Sophia
