#Name error only on some devices

Dear community,

Today we shared our financial model with our investors. While everything seems good on our end (in Excel and in Excel online), our investor reported that they receive a #Name error. We are not sure what kind of set-up they use which makes troubleshooting difficult, but I am confident that they have a quite recent version of Excel. I am not aware of using any special formulas that were only introduced recently. For example, I do not use XLookup. Do you have any ideas what might be the reason why they receive a #Name error?

Many thanks!

The most likely cause for that error is functions that they don't have available to them - either UDFs or newer built-in functions. As a start, ask them to tell you the formula in a cell that has the error - though there may be levels of precedents to wade through.
