Can we do same in Windows 11? If yes, please let me know, how?

    Hi @NndnG ,

This feature appears to have been removed from Windows 11, at least from the current build.
Here's also a post about this:

I wonder if those who made the decision to take away Never combine realize just how much time removing this feature cost users?

If you want to do computer work at the same level of proficiency as Stephen Curry plays basketball, then that requires understanding the notion of Flow State.

Having to locate a small icon, hover your mouse, then try to discern which one of multiple similar looking items to choose, compared to glancing down and simply picking on the exact item you can see and need, is the difference between being in flow state and not.

Making matters worse, forcing everyone to put their taskbar at the bottom of the screen is another example of Microsoft making users less proficient. On monitors running at 16:9 aspect ratio it makes the most sense to put the taskbar on either side and not the bottom. This is even more true when running large displays because you have more screen real-estate to give up horizontally than vertically. Also with the taskbar on either side you can make it slightly wider which gives you a better glimpse for what any given open task, (never hidden) is.

    Bring back Win10 taskbar buttons!

I really hate when design is more important than productivity.

I would be happy to use Win11 but this will be a deal breaker for me.

Many applications show progress on their window title but all of these are just hidden by this **** new feature. I must click and open the app to be able to see the progress of a long running operation. How stupid! I can't believe this!

It is really annoying that the ability to decombine tasks in the taskbar has disappeared in windows 11, It creates many additional steps to my flow specially when you work with many similar types of files. I really prefer having to scroll down the taskbar but being able to locate by position my files. This means, the most highly used tasks appear first and they are immediate oneclickers... then I only go to search the other less frequent when I need them, but now have double click every time I change context! . It is only worse when I am working with folders for file comparison or movement. I initially though I would get used to it.. but it is not happening only.

I use w11 for my job and I need access quickly to my open software and Microsoft remove "Never Combine taskbar" and now it's complicated

The only solution than I find it's use winaero ( https://winaero.com/how-to-restore-classic-start-menu-in-windows-11-and-get-back-live-tiles/ ) and back to the old and classic start menu and after that we can choose between combine or not combine the taskbar but it's not a good way too!

Microsoft please add "Never Combine taskbar" again!
