What are the minimum forest and domain functional level requirements to add a Windows Server 2022 Domain Controller?

Microsoft's website shows the information for Windows Server 2019. Is there a link to the info for Windows Server 2022?

"The minimum requirement to add a Windows Server 2019 Domain Controller is a Windows Server 2008 functional level. The domain also has to use DFS-R as the engine to replicate SYSVOL."

Thanks

    Hi @kungpow112 ,

As far as I know the Domain/Forest functional levels have not changed, but the requirements might have. As Windows Server 2022 just recently came out, the documentations have most likely not yet been updated to reflect on the new operating system.

I suggest you submit feedback at the bottom of the AD Functional Levels documentation page:

As @Leon Laude mentioned, the Domain Functional Levels are available here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/identity/ad-ds/active-directory-functional-levels

The supported functional levels for 2022 are the same as 2019, both of which start at Functional Level 2008.
