    Hi Rob_770!

    Thank you for the feedback.

I recommend contacting the Microsoft support team via chat at http://support.office.com/home/chat,

Once you click the support link, Type or describe the issue in the search bar Click on the "Get Help" button Click the "Contact Support" button at the bottom of the page Select your option under "Product and services" and "Categories" Choose your Support option, preferably select "Chat with a support agent in your web browser" Enter your email address and Confirm your email again

Once you do that, a service request will be open and you will need to exercise patience for the Microsoft Support Agent to chat with you live

    Contact - Microsoft Support Timetables Monday-Friday: 09:00-18:00 Saturday-Sunday: 10 am-6 pm

Please kindly let me know how it goes with Microsoft Support and if you need any other assistance, I will be more than happy to help further.

    Thank you

    Best Regards, Shakiru

    Hi Shakiru,

Many thanx for your explanation. Things are getting clearer, but also getting worse....

At first I had 2 accounts with the same email ******@robsmits-trainingencoaching.nl:

    A) apparently an organisation account

    B) a personal account.

As you suggested, I have made an alias for B (@robsmits-trainingencoaching.nl), made it the primary, and removed the first emailadress (@robsmits-trainingencoaching.nl).

But now I am unable to login in B with (info@....) so I can not use it anymore!?!?!? Therefor I am unable to use Teams, Excel etc....

And account A is some sort of Admin account, I can not use/login to Teams, Excel etc. either....

Please help me in fixing this....

    What I want:

    • get rid of account A (I do not use it as an organisation)
    • Only have account B, which I can use with ******@robsmits-trainingencoaching.nl

    Hope you can help.

    Yours Sincerely,

    Rob

    Hi Rob_770!

    Thank you for the feedback.

Microsoft recommends that different email should be used for different Microsoft accounts to avoid being prompted when you intend to sign in to either of the Microsoft and to prevent creating confusion in the system.

    Thank you

    Hi Shakiru,

thank you for your quick respond.

If I understand your solution correct, I eventually have to login with my new email adress. This is not what I want, because I use the account for business, and therefor I want to use my normal email adress.

    Thnx for reply,

    Rob

    Hi Rob_770!

I'm Shakiru, an independent advisor and a user like you, and I'm glad I can help you today.

I understand that your PC sees that your email address is used for both work and private life.

The workaround is to rename your Microsoft PersonaI account. That is, you need to add a new email (test email address), this time let it be an Outlook email.

You need to add an alias to your Microsoft account Add Primary Alias - Go to https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=529489

    • Select Add Email and Add Outlook Email
    • Then create from the new email a "Primary Alias"
    • Log in with the new primary alias
    • Have you successfully logged in?

Please let me know how it goes.

    Thank you

    Kind regards, Shakiru
