Per your description, I understand you can't find the Install Office > Office 365 apps button when you trying to install Office apps.
Thank you for sharing the screenshots about the situation.
I'm afraid this issue is related to that you don't have the license "The latest desktop version of Office"(as shown below), this is the required license to install Office apps.
From the screenshot you provided, you have Office 365 A1 for students subscription, generally, this subscription doesn't have this license.
Therefore, I sincerely recommend you contact your organization's IT department or Microsoft 365 administrator, because they have the appropriate permission to assign license to you.
