I am trying to populate the Events part, i.e., calendar, on my SharePoint site. According to the information I've been able to find, I need to connect to an Events' page but can't find any instructions on how to create one.

Thank you for your prompt reply!

I was actually asking about how to POPULATE the calendar, which is already in place. From what I've been able to find, the calendar can pull information from a page, but there seems to be a special way to set up that page, and that's what I was asking how to do. Basically, I'd like the calendar to populate automatically by pulling in the events the events automatically.

    Dear MG,

Apologies for the delay in the response and as per the further updates, I would like to confirm whether you want to show complete Calendar list in the SharePoint Online page instead of using the Events web part in the SharePoint Online. If yes, you need to use the Embed webpart with the steps explained in the following thread: How to add a open SharePoint calendar not the group calendar in the - Microsoft Community

If you just want to display the events in the Calendar list, you can use the Event webpart and make sure to select the Calendar list that you have created in the SharePoint Online site to display in the page.

    Best Regards,

    Mia

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, I don't think I'm effectively communicating what I am trying to do.

I've included a screen shot of the event part that I would like to populate. My question is how do I create a page that I can link it to, so that it can pull the correct event information?

    Dear MG,

Thanks for writing back and updating with us.

As per the screenshot shared, it seems the date range that which is set in the Edit web part doesn’t have any events because the events that are displayed in the webpart will be shown only when they are no events in the Date Range selected.

In this situation, I would like you to set the Data Range to All Upcoming events and create a new events to see whether the newly created events is displaying or not.

Appreciate for your patience and understanding. Have a good day!!

    Sincerely,

    Mia | Microsoft Moderator
