Error while copying text from OneNote after Windows 11 upgrade. OneNote freezes and I am unable to copy anything from OneNote. This happen after Windows 11 update.

    If my understanding is right, apologized situation you encountered, we do understand the inconvenience caused and apologize for it.

    According to our testing this issue could be related to cache store on the OneNote or OneNote client is outdated.

    Can you confirm the version of your OneNote client? go to files >> account?

    Try to update the OneNote client go to files >> account >> Microsoft 365 office update

    Clear application cache

    • Sync and back up all of my open OneNote notebooks.
    • Close all notebooks.
    • Close all OneNote programs.
    • Navigate to AppData folder. Usually you can find it in the following directory**:C:\Users<user>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneNote\16.0**
    • Delete the cache folder.

    You try upper steps still getting the same error please let me know I will try my best to find a solution.
