Issues with Excel Conditional Formatting within Teams

When I use conditional formatting in a Teams Excel document to try and highlight all cells with a date less than today's (Cell value less than =TODAY() ), it instead highlights all cells. All date cells are formatted to Date, so I'm not sure what the issue is. I have not actually run into this issue using these tools in Excel proper. I've tried searching Support documents and haven't found an answer yet. Thank you!

    Could you share a screenshot with some dummy data and the Conditional format settings?

    I cannot reproduce your issue on my teams Excel.

    Share us a test file to reproduce your issue also helps correcting your settings.
