Duplicate Charge - Refund Requred

Hello,

I have a duplicate charge on my credit card. There are two receipt numbers , however I do not require two subscriptions, as I am the only one using my computer and I have no family members. I may have made a mistake, historical records will show that I have always just paid for one subscription per year.

Regards Kath

Hi Kath, thanks for coming into the forums. I'm also a user like you and I'll be more than happy to help you to the best of my knowledge.

Please log in using your Microsoft account at https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders to see if you are indeed double charged on the same account and the same subscription.

If only 1 charge is showing under your account, reach out to your bank to dispute.

If two charges are showing under your Microsoft account, you can reach out to Microsoft support via live chat they are the ones who are able to help check these charges and process a refund if necessary.

    1. Click this link https://support.microsoft.com/contactus make sure to log in with your account and choose Microsoft 365.
    2. Choose 'Get Home Support' and type the 'Double Charge'.
    3. Click 'Get Help' then scroll down and select 'Contact Support'.
    4. Choose your Product & Services then the Category should be Billing
    5. Click Confirm
    6. Click 'Chat with a support agent in your web browser'

I hope this helps. If you require further information, please don’t hesitate to get in contact. I will be more than happy to assist you further.

    Kind Regards Myk
