OneDrive Shared Folder - Require Password When Opening Files?

Hi,

After sharing a OneDrive folder with a colleague in the organization (MS 365), is it possible to require a password for opening all files in the folder? I know how to set a password for opening and individual file, but can we do this for an entire Shared OneDrive folder to apply all files and sub-folders?

Any advice or ideas appreciated,

Thanks!

Dear Carolina Jud,

Greetings! Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I went through your post carefully. As far as I know, I'm sorry and I'm afraid there is no built-in feature in OneDrive to require a password for an entire shared OneDrive folder and apply to all files and sub-folders. Very sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Personally, I could understand your concern and I completely agree with you, this is indeed a good addition to the current features of OneDrive. Thank you for bringing thing to our attention.
