One Note shared document

I am sharing an One Note document with my students (only viewer access) created from iOS desktop app and using dark mode. While the students can open the document they see all the colors reverted and it is very hard for them to see the actual content (e.g. white background with yellow notes, which of course on dark mode it was easily readable)

Can the students do anything to view the document as it was originally created, given that they only have viewer access

Thanks in advance

Themis

    Dear Themis,

Greetings! Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Per your description, may I know if your students are using Dark Mode to view the shared notebook?

If not, you may suggest them turn on Dark Mode with steps below.

1.If they are using OneNote on iPhone or iPad:

open Settings on iPhone/iPad > Display & Brightness > select Dark.

    b. OneNote for Windows 10:

In the upper right corner of the app window, click the Settings and More (the 3 dots) button, click Settings, and then click Options.

In the Options pane that opens, under Color, select Dark to use OneNote in Dark Mode.

However, if they are using Dark Mode but still have issue, please feel free to post back and let me know. Please share some screenshots about the issue's symptom. I will continue helping you.

Thanks for your time and cooperation!
