Hello, none of that has worked. The devices is not even listed in my Microsoft account. I have just reinstalled Excell on my Android device and it works finally!
Hi Pavel,
I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. Have you tried the troubleshooting suggestions and none worked?
The issue can either be from the document or your device. Have you tried opening another document?
Dear Sola.
thank you. This is a personal account, with a personal email address. I have never used Intune. It has never been installed on any of my devices. First time I hear about it.
I do not understand why all of a sudden my personal email should be enrolled in Intune that have never used.
I only want to be able to open Office documents on my Android. Just like I did for years before the error message started popping up.
Kind regards
P
Hi Pavel G,
If you are getting an Intune error on your personal Android device when trying to open a Microsoft Office document from Dropbox, it is likely because your device is still enrolled in your workplace's Intune management. This can happen even if you have already removed the Intune app from your device.
To fix this issue, you can try the following steps:
If you are still getting an Intune error after following these steps, you may try the following,
Update Apps: Make sure that both the Dropbox app and MS Office app on your Android device are up to date. Outdated versions can have compatibility issues.
Clear App Cache: Try clearing the cache and data of both the Dropbox app and the MS Office app on your Android device. Cached data can sometimes cause problems with document opening.
Try a Different Document: Attempt to open a different MS Office document from Dropbox to see if the issue is specific to that particular document or if it is more general.
Check Permissions: Ensure that the Dropbox app has the necessary permissions to access and open files on your device.
Check for File Corruption: If possible, try opening the same MS Office document on a different device or a computer to determine if the file itself is corrupted.
I hope this helps.
