Macro Enabled workbook not syncing properly when more than two users work on it simultaneously and macros gone from macro list

Dear, we are having more and more problems with excel with the latest updates from office 365.

Our excels are interconnected all shared on sharepoint and are refreshed by macros.

Our version 2208 build 16.0.15601.20764

Next to the fact that often the macros disappear from the macro list ( but still visible when opening VBA editor) we have a problem that syncing the file working with multiple people fails almost every day. We used to have the option when there is a sync problem to save a local version with an appendix of your pc name name but this is no longer available since last week and we are forced now to merge which in the end almost never works.

This is getting out of control and our business users are leaving excel for what it is and start looking for other alternatives.

    Your issue seems coming from Office update. For such issue, we'd suggest you raise to ticket to Micrsoft.

    Please contact your admin/IT department create a support ticket via Microsoft 365 Admin Center> Support> New service request. That support team there will have the correct channel and resources to help you investigate more and find what exactly the reason has caused this situation.
