Dear respected LUQMAN HAKEEM BIN AZHAR
Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.
I’m sorry you’re having a problem but based on your description we can work together to resolve it.
For the situation you encountered, we deeply understand the inconvenience caused and apologize for it.
As per your description, if you are using the web versions of PowerPoint (PowerPoint for web), then, I'm Sorry PowerPoint for web (online) application don't have all the features of the full desktop version. That may be why you can't merge shapes.
If you are using PowerPoint desktop client application, generally, to merge shapes on the new shape on PowerPoint, select the shapes you want to merge by holding down the Shift key and clicking on each shape. Go to the Shape Format tab and click on Merge Shapes.
.
For your reference: Draw a picture by combining and merging shapes.
If possible, could you please upload screenshot for our reference, so we can understand your exact scenario and provide our suggestion in a productive manner, perhaps some related screenshots will be helpful.
We appreciate your understanding that sometimes the initial suggestions may not resolve the problem very soon. However, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation. So, please kindly provide more information below to let us work further.
- What’s your PowerPoint version? Open PowerPoint > File > Account > Production Information and share a screenshot of it. (Please mask your private information.)
- Does the issue happens on all files or a specific one?
Appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your time and cooperation.
Sincerely,
Waqas Muhammad
