Hello,

I have a big problem, my mail is stopped and I don't know how to solve it. I have a machine with exchange 2010 where most of the users are and an exchange 2016 where there are a few users to do a migration shortly.

We do not know why the mail has fallen, we believe because the "MSExchangeEdgeCredential" service is stopped and does not start, the same happens with the transport "MSExchangeTransport"125924-microsoft-edge-2.jpg125875-microsoft-edge.jpg125902-microsoft-edge-3.jpg

Microsoft Exchange Edge Credential Service couldn't load the local server object from the Active Directory. This is probably because the service is not running under the LocalSystem account. Please make sure this service is running under the LocalSystem account so that it has permissions to access the local Exchange server object in the Active Directory service.

    Hi @Sergio Díaz Villarejo

Was there any change made in the Exchange environment right prior to the occurance of the issue?
Have you already tried re-subscribing the Edge Transport server as indicated in the FailureDetail in the output of Test-EdgeSynchronization?

If the issue persists after resubscribing the edge subscription, please run the command below and see if there's any clues for further troubleshoot:

By the way, considering that it's a public forum, I've edited your original post to remove the domain name. If you need to share more information in your posts, it's also recommended to remove any private data involved so as to protect your personal information.

I had this exact issue, I realized that I haven't set the correct DNS suffix in edge server which was my local domain+suffix (the one that you have on your local DC). Hope it works for you.

To do it: Run>sysdm.cpl>change>more> there you can change it. Also make sure you check the checkbox there too. See the attached photo.Edge Issue
