Working in Word 365, I am trying to group multiple text boxes within a text box.

I have, changed each of the text boxes to "Through" and held down the Ctrl key.

I can get about eight text boxes selected and I will my selected text boxes and have to start over.

Thank you.

Hard to see but I have "Through" selected.

Tex

Holding Ctrl key, and clicking on each text box,

Then, all that had been selected, becomes deselected and only one is selected.

As Suzanne wrote, you can't put any wrapped objects inside a text box.

However, it is possible to put multiple objects (text boxes, shapes, images) inside a drawing canvas. I am not sure if that would be a useful approach in your document.

Interesting. I have been able to group text boxes in a text box with fewer text boxes.

I was just having problems capturing all the text boxes in one full group.

    Thank you.
