does subscription to Microsoft 365 basic gives access to use of word

I was using word for years and last two days I got a message to sign into Microsoft 365 when I used Word. And when I did try to sign in I kept getting the error message 44.

What do I do?

    Microsoft 365 Business Basic does not include the full versions of Office programs that you can install on a PC or Mac. See https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/business/compare-all-microsoft-365-business-products
