Error opening Office 0x2-0x0 and 0x5-0x0

Hello.

Suddenly we are finding several computers that cannot run Office 365.

All computers have updated Win10, and users have an Office E5 license.

Computers and users have been working with this configuration for some time without problems.

We have users with this problem in China and Spain. For all computers we use the same multi-language installation.

With this same Windows/Office/License configuration we have hundreds of computers all over the planet, and no other is presenting this problem (at the moment).

When trying to open any Office application, an error with code 0x2-0x0 appears.

We have tried repairing the installation, as the message itself recommends, and also reinstalling from scratch. In both cases, Office works normally for a few minutes, and then fails again. This time the error 0x2-0x0 occurs when opening Outlook, and when opening Word or Excel the error 0x5-0x0 appears

Any ideas what else to try?

Thank you.

This issue has been solved. There was a conflict with Cisco AMP Secure Endpoint.

    Hi,

I tried to repair Office. I uninstalled Office using the Microsoft tool too, and the error is still the same.

I can't create a local profile for every user: this weekend I have six more computers with this issue, all around the world, and that operation can't be done with our remote system. I can try it if this error was in one computer, but now it's in ten computers in 48 hours, so I think this is a global issue.

    Thanks.

    Dear David_GonzalezES

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you

First of all, I want to confirm if you have tried the following fixes: Repairing Office from the Control Panel:
Go to Control Panel -> Programs -> right-click on Office applications’ icon -> Change -> Online Repair.

If you have already tried the above methods, I suggest that you can also try creating a new local environment in the device where this behavior occurs:Create a local user or administrator account in Windows - Microsoft Support

We look forward to your reply. Thanks for your cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Tin | Microsoft Community Moderator
