Issue with Modern Comments - Contextual View does now show full comment unless I click into it (and no indication that comment might be longer than preview)

Hi! My team uses comments to review project documents. With the switch to modern comments, we are now having an issue where a long comment only shows the first three lines of a comment and you have to "click into" the comment in order to see the full text. However, there is no indication that the comment might be longer. If I am clicking "next comment" throughout my document and half a comment displays, but that first half looks complete, I have no way of knowing that there is more information, sometimes several paragraphs of additional information.

We want to ensure that nothing is getting missed in our reviews. Is there a setting that will allow the contextual comments view to display the full comments or at least indicate if there is additional text on the comment?

For example, this screenshot shows the comment that displays when I get to it by clicking "next comment" or simply scroll down the page. It is easy to think that this is the whole comment. However, if I click in on the comment, there is a whole second paragraph, as shown in the second screenshot. I'd like the second screenshot to be what always displays in my reviews.

    Dear Elizabeth,

I'm afraid that there is no way displaying the whole comments by default if the comments are long in the Word application. You may need to double-click on the comments to see the full content.

In Word for the web, there is a See more option notifying you whether it is a long comment.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hmm one way can be to consider the comment showing in full only if you could see the time stamp beneath it. I know it is not a solution to the problem, but it may make it less difficult for you.
