We have recently implemented a new application into our catalog and the performance of this specific application on RemoteDesktop is extremely bad. For example, once loaded into the application opening a specific screen (which is a new window) can cause the application to enter a "Not Responding" state.
Intuition thinks that it is slow when printing the results from the Session host into the RemoteDesktop app.
When installing the app directly onto a Windows 10 laptop the application performs fine.
I am trying to understand what lower-level investigation can be done to identify the root cause.
Some extra info:
- Session Hosts (8): Size - Standard D4s v3 , vCPUs - 4, RAM - 16GB, OS - Windows 10 Enterprise for Virtual Desktops.
- Session limit: 16
- There are other applications (some much more resource-intensive) that are running on the servers perfectly fine.
