Why is this map chart not working in Excel?

Trying to create a simple map chart in Excel for the first time. 2 variables for each region, USA, China, RoW and Europe.

But it just hangs..

How do I fix this please?

    1. Maps expect the geographical regions to be in a column, not in a row.
    2. USA and China are countries, Europe is a continent, not a country, and Rest of World is not a country either.

    1. how do I get the zones of "Europe" and "Rest of the World" without having to click or unclick every country?
    2. can I get 3D bars placed on the regions to show relative sizes, not a heat map?
