Hi All

We get the following error when we try to share the sharepoint site with external users even after enabling external sharing in sharepoint:

"At least one invitation failed. Error: ResponseStatusNotOK, message: Guest invitations not allowed for your company. Contact your company administrator for more details.. Error: ResponseStatusNotOK, message: Guest invitations not allowed for your company. Contact your company administrator for more details.."

Using the following method to share the sharepoint site:

Open the SharePoint link, locate and click on the settings icon to open up the setting window.

From the Setting menu select the "Site Permission" link.

From the Permission window click on "Add members", select "Share Site Only", on the "Share site" window, insert and select the external user's email address.

Include a comment (This is optional however its recommended) and press the "Add" button.

The External user/users will receive the invite to access the shared SharePoint site.

Please kindly help.

If you get any reply from Microsoft, kindly let me know.

We are also facing the same kind of issue from past 2 weeks.

The domain needs to be added to your Target Domains in Azure under external collaboration settings. Yes, it needs to be added in the SharePoint Admin center for the specific SPO site as well. Two different spots you need to add the domain now.

    MC525663

Go to: Azure AD/External Identities/External collaboration settings

Under "Collaboration restrictions" make sure "Allow invitations only to the specified domains" is selected.

Add the domain to the "Targeted Domains" list.
