How to Deactivate Office installation

My old PC crashed and I wish to install Office 2021 to my new PC. I deleted the old PC from my MS account prior to deactivating MS Office and now do not see how to deactivate Office!

I purchased MS Office 21 Home version from MS online. I'm on Windows 10 Pro 64-GB.

Can anyone suggest the needed steps or do I need to call MicroSoft?

Hello NoTimeLikeThePresent,

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I am a Microsoft user just like you, I hope you are doing well.

You need to install this license on your PC using the steps below:

  1. Go to www.office.com and if you're not already signed in, select Sign in.
  2. From the Office home page select Install Office.
  3. Select Install (or depending on your version, Install Office>).
  4. This completes the download of Office to your device. You can now proceed to install Office.
  5. Once you're done installing Office, you can then sign in your Microsoft account associated with this license to activate.
