    Hello LTC505

Hi, I'm Karl and will be happy to help you today.

Just so there is no misunderstanding, this is a public user-to-user support forum. We're users just like you helping other users. We do not work for Microsoft and have no access to any user account so there is nothing we can do or check from within the forum

Am a little unclear about what your question. Specifically, if you purchased another year of Microsoft 365 using the same email address, it would be automatically added to the existing subscription if you purchased it from the Microsoft Store using the same Microsoft Account associated with the existing subscription. If you purchased it from a 3rd party reseller, you would need to redeem the product key using the same Microsoft Account associated with the existing subscription as outlined in

Where to enter your Office product key https://support.microsoft.com/office/where-to-enter-your-office-product-key-0a82e5ae-739e-4b92-a6f4-2ec780c185db

If you purchase the additional subscription using a different Microsoft Account, you cannot merge this with another account. If you purchased it from the Microsoft Store using a different Microsoft Account with the last 30 days, you will need to perform the following steps

#1 - Ensure that recurring billing is turned off for the additional subscription as described in

Turn recurring billing on or off for Microsoft 365 for home https://support.microsoft.com/office/turn-recurring-billing-on-or-off-for-microsoft-365-for-home-c7c0bc32-9744-4acf-9818-815d5c96cc59

#2 - request a refund via (only applies to purchases made within the last 30 days

    https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact?linkquery=Request%20a%20refund%20for%20a%20Microsoft%20365%20subscription

Be sure the enter "Request a refund for a Microsoft 365 subscription" as the reason

*** please note that we can only provide publicly published Microsoft contact information - no one in the forum has any special Microsoft contact links

#3 - Purchase the subscription again using the Microsoft Account assocaied with your existing subscription

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask, we're here to help you further if needed.
