Captions not appearing in Word document

Hello,

I'm working on an assignment that I need to add a caption on a photo. I do not see the caption option anywhere in the word document. I have searched caption in the search bar and it does not populate. I do not see this option anywhere in the tabs section.

please advise.

    If you have the full version of Word/Office running under Windows, go to References tab > Captions group > Insert Caption. There are some built-in caption labels: Equation, Figure and Table. You can create additional ones, if you wish, by using the New Label button.

    Note that custom caption labels are stored in the Normal template; they do not travel with the document that you were editing as you created the label.

    The normal caption list is not showing 😭😭😭😭

    I tried to open it on ipad word full version and even on 365 from browser and still no caption button

    Most likely, captions are not (fully) supported on other platforms than Windows or Mac OS.

    Captions are definitely not supported in the web version of Word.

    I have the same problem on my ipad word and even if i open the file on 365 in the browser,did you find any solution?
