Purchasing Power Platform

I cannot find this answer anywhere and trying to book a consultation to ask, is not working either :(

I have a M365 personal license. I want to purchase Power Apps so I can create an app and distribute.

  1. Can I do an add on to M365 personal?
  2. If so, how, I only have the option to upgrad to the Family membership
  3. If not, what do I do to get there?

And if someone can actually tell me to book a call as well that would be useful.

Thank you

You would need to sign up completely from scratch for a Business account. You can then migrate your data over from one to the other by connecting both OneDrive personal and OneDrive for Business on your device.

    Hope this helps.

So then how do you migrate from Personal to Business? I have a bunch of stuff in the cloud and such that I don't want to lose. Or is it about having a 2nd account for the Business and keeping the personal seperate?

Thanks a lot for your help.

As far as I know, you cannot sign up for Power Platform (even the Trial or Community) without having a business (work or school) account.

If you want to trial this, you can sign up for a Microsoft 365 Business Basic account:

Set up Microsoft 365 Business Basic
