Hello

I have had a business basic license for several months. I am now no longer able to edit any MS documents on my macbook. I troubleshooted the problem and deleted the 3 UBF*T346G9 folders ( **.ms, **.Office, and **.OfficeOsfWebHost) signed out of my MS account, restarted my computer, but I am still having the same issue.

    Hi Sheldon Z!

    Thank you for the feedback.

Since that does not resolve the issue, you may need to uninstall Office completely, and then reinstall it.

*To uninstall Microsoft Office from your Mac, see here: https://support.office.com/article/eefa1199-5b58-43af-8a3d-b73dc1a8cae3

    * Restart the Mac.

    * To reinstall Office: Go to https://account.microsoft.com/servicesand then sign in with the Microsoft account to which the Office 2021 license was assigned:

    * Start the installation from your account

    * Once the installation is complete, open one of the Office applications and sign in to Office if prompted.

I hope this helps! Please kindly let me know if you need any other assistance and I will be more than happy to help further.

    Thank you

    Best Regards, Shakiru

    Hi Sheldon Z!

I am Shakiru, an independent advisor and a user like you, and I am glad to be helping you out today.

I understand you can no longer able to edit any MS documents on my Macbook.

May I confirm you still have an active Microsoft 365 Basic Business subscription?

Have you tried removing the Office activation license and then signing in to Office again? To do this, follow these steps: * Quit all Office applications.

    * Download the License Removal Tool from https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=849815

    * Open the .pkg file from your Mac's Downloads folder. > Select “Next” > “Install”. You may need to enter the password for your Mac's local administrator account > After the tool removes the licenses, select Close.

    * Restart Mac, launch Office, log back into Office, and check the result.

I hope this helps! Please kindly let me know if you need any other assistance and I will be more than happy to help further.

    Thank you

    Best Regards, Shakiru
