-I once had an employee linked account, however I'm no longer with the company. It does request that I login to that old work account. But I just login to my personal account.

This may be the problem. Is it asking you to log into a company Dropbox account or is that in Excel app?

You removed the company email from

    Settings > Work profile?

Do you / did you have company portal app? Check these two locations for permissions for it - (you should only have it in one location, most likely the first one) In Settings > Privacy Protection > Special Permission > Device Admin Apps Settings, search for Phone Administrator

If there is an option for InTune in either path, disable or delete it.

Microsoft has this article on removing the company portal from Android https://learn.microsoft.com/mem/intune/user-help/unenroll-your-device-from-intune-android

-The complete error code is "Can't open file. We couldn't apply organizational policies due to Intune service error. Please try again later"

    -There's no error code

-This error appears when I try to open the excel file from dropbox.

-This has been going on for a few week now.

-This is my personal dropbox account.

-I am using my personal phone.

-I once had an employee linked account, however I'm no longer with the company. It does request that I login to that old work account. But I just login to my personal account.

-I was able to open and edit the files through office 365, however I am unable to save any of the changes that were made. I get the following error "Can't copy file. Office can't save a copy of your file right now. Please try again later."

-When I try to open the file directly in the excel app I get the following error "Can't open file. Sorry, Excel found a problem with this file and can't open it.".

Thank you in advance for you help

Hi, I'm Diane and will be happy to help you today.

Is that the complete error message? Does it include an error code?

How long have you had this error message? If it's a server issue, it should go away in less than 24 hours.

Is your Dropbox a personal account or provided by your employer?

Does your employer have policies applied to your phone? (May be required to access company resources on your phone.)

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
