Is it possible to find out how many incoming emails we get in the company that contain attachments? I don't see any option to view attachments in Exchange Admin center.

    Dear Jarrett Hunt,

Good day to you and hope you are doing well.

Generally, in Content search, you need to add more conditions as highlighted in below screenshot. Please check.

There is no direct method to collect all emails which have attachment. For the best practice, add all types of files in file type condition and run contnet search.

Hope the above information helps you. If this shared suggestion helps you, you can give vote on it, it helps other users. With your vote, other users who are searching the same information can easily find.

Besides the above information, there is no direct way to collect all attachment directly from Micrsooft365 admin center. We understand your requirement and appreciate it. We also welcome to submit feedback to product Devlopment team by go to admin center and at the bottom left side of page, you have option to Give Feedback.

I would really appreciate your valuable time. Thank you for your kind cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Ankita Vaidya

    Dear Jarrett Hunt

    Thanks for choosing Microsoft Community.

Based on your description, I know the scenario you met. For this, it is possible to find out how many incoming emails with attachments your company receives in Microsoft 365. You can use the Message Trace feature in the Security & Compliance Center to search for messages that contain attachments. Here are the steps:

1 Click on Search > Content search.

2 Click on the + New search button.

3 In the New search page, enter a name for the search and click on the Next button.

4 In the Locations section, select the mailbox locations you want to search (e.g., All mailboxes).

5 In the Search query section, click on the Add conditions button and select Attachment > Is present.

6 Click on the Save & run button to start the search.

The search results will show you the number of messages that contain attachments. You can also export the results to a CSV file for further analysis.

Hope this can help. If there is any update, please feel free to let me know. Your understanding and co-operation are highly appreciated.

Thanks for your precious time. Have a nice day.

    Sincerely,

    Katherine
