    Dear Mattis,

Greetings! Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble disabling the "Smart copy and paste" feature in Word.

When I test from my side, I firstly go to disable Smart copy and paste feature in Word, then go to copy text which has formatting from PowerPoint slide, paste the text into a table in Word, the text is not automatically adjusted. But if I enable the feature and try copying and pasting the same text from PowerPoint into Word table again, the text is adjusted.

I'd like to help you, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation.

    1. If it's convenient, could you please share some screenshots about I have unchecked the box for the so called "Smart copy and paste" but it doesn't change. ?

Is the situation that you cannot disable Smart copy and paste feature because the option is checked again when you restart Word?

Or is that situation that although the feature is disabled, but pasted texts are still adjusted automatically in Word?

    1. Could you share your Word App version? I'd like to test in same version as yours and check the result.

We look forward to hearing from you; Please understand that our initial reply may not always immediately resolve the issue. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

Thanks for your time and cooperation! We hope you have a nice day, stay safe and healthy.

    Sincerely,
