Visual Basic Code Keeps Disappearing in Excel 365

I have VBA code in the Activate procedure for a number of Worksheets in a file I use every day. Almost every day now I am having use backup to replace code that disappears. Can anyone help me with this problem?

    I recommend to keep a copy of the file before you run it again. This continues to be a problem, it has occurred several times and again just now for me, I can retrieved a backup and replace the code behind it keeping the data within the sheets but this is a pain in the butt.
