Automatic-space Tab function doesn't work

This morning, for no apparent reasons, all the tab spaces set already on my word file have disappeared, like hidden (no more space between the previous and next character).

The only way I can get a tab space is by clicking on the ruler above.

The automatic tab space looks like hidden. It's actually correctly inserted, it is present on the page, because if I backspace as many times as I type the tab key the cursor remains just there as something is being deleted.

If I reveal the paragraph symbols even the usual right-hand arrow (which represents the tab space) is not shown, while for the manual tabs (the ones I insert through the guides symbol on the ruler) appear regularly.

I've already close and open the file/word and try another word file: in vain.

However, for instance, it works regularly on Power Point.

The version I'm referring to is an Office 2019 Professional.

In the affected document, which value has been specified for the default tab stops? To find out, display the Tabs dialog box.

The default tab stop setting is saved at the document level, and it applies to all paragraphs in the document (it will be overridden as soon as custom tab stops have been added). The initial setting for the defaults will be inherited from the document template (or from a previous document if your document was created via Save As for an existing *.docx file).

    Thank you very much,

I probably mistakenly delete the space there, that's why

    Everything has turned fine

    Thank you again

    Thank you for the answer,

I know that the default tab settings do not show up on the ruler, the problem is that the default tab spaces, the ones which I don't customize, don't have any effect on my text.

Here an examples of two different lines:
