    Hi Quyền Lê Quốc T,

Thanks for getting back. I apologize for the late response.

To better isolate the problem, I would suggest that you try using an English keyboard if the problem is the same.

In this way, we can further isolate if this problem occur with English language.

    Sincerely,

I have tried everything you suggested but the problem still remains.

    .

My ipad is now on Ipad OS 17.1 (latest since I checked on 6/11)

    .

The problem appeared when I first used power point on this Ipad (which is about 3 weeks ago) and it doesn't happen on Word app or any other app (Facebook, etc.)

    .

I insert a picture in the topic but it seems to have lost, therefore, I post it on Google drive and Onedrive instead.

    Hi Quyền Lê Quốc T,

I see, if that's the case, I would recommend sending feedback directly to our developers about the problem. In that way they would be aware of this issue on the said platform. Hopefully it will be fixed on the next update.

To send feedback, you may refer to this link here. We’d love to hear from you about what’s working well, what’s not, and any ideas for improvements including possible new features and functions. How do I give feedback on Microsoft 365? - Microsoft Support

    Dear ReynaldoB

    .

I find no problem when typing English. However, for your information, I found lots of reports about the same problem in the rating section on the Appstore (which dated back to May 2023, as far as I concern).

    .

Therefore, I suggest that this problem is quite popular to Vietnamese user like me.

    .

    Have a nice day.

    Hi Lê Quốc Thiên Quyền

Thank you for posting on the Microsoft Community Forum.

I understand that you're experiencing issues with typing Vietnamese characters in PowerPoint on your iPad Air 5. Let's work together to find the best solution to this problem.

I would like to ask a few questions in order to better understand the problem.

    • Can you provide us a screenshot or video recording of the problem?
    • When did the problem started?
    • What is the version of PowerPoint you have on your iPad?
    • Does this problem only occurs on your PowerPoint application? How about other Office apps like Word?

To resolve this issue, please try the following steps:

    1. Make sure that your iPad is running the latest version of iOS and PowerPoint app is up to date.
    2. Add the Vietnamese keyboard. Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards > Add New Keyboard > Vietnamese.
    3. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the PowerPoint app from your iPad.
    4. If the issue still persists, try restarting your iPad and then try typing in PowerPoint again.

I look forward to your reply.

    Sincerely,

    ReynaldoB
