Outlook Email Encryption -

Help, please. How to set up any external company emails to be encrypted? Currently, only emails going outside of Microsft 365 are encrypted. e.g. emails sent to my Gmail are encrypted. However, sending them to my personal Outlook email is not.

p.s.: I am using this for my business or for my personal (I am subscribed to both).

Sincerely,

Perry

Hi, I'm Diane and will be happy to help you today.

Are you using the encryption built into Microsoft 365?

It's working for me - in Outlook desktop, the outlook.com account has the lock icon and this info bar - Encrypt-Only - This message is encrypted. Recipients can't remove encryption. Permission granted by:[address] In Outlook on the web, it has the lock and "This message is encrypted." at the top of the message.

Because its a Microsoft account, the messages are decrypted automatically, unlike gmail accounts that require you to log into Microsoft site.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
