Excel Power Query Returning: [Expression.Error] The column " of the table wasn't found.

I have two power queries running in the one workbook, one work fine and refreshes correctly, however the other one always returns "[Expression.Error] The column " of the table wasn't found" even though no data have been removed or changed.

When i go to recreate the query from scratch the same message keeps appearing when i try to refresh to load the new data.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Dear Blayke,

What source of data do you get from to create the affected query?

As the issue may be investigated with the source data and the file you are using, we may need to do a test with the file and the correct source data in our environment.

As Ashish said, it is appreciated if you can provide the file and the sample source data containing no private information which you use to reproduce the issue.

If the file and the file link can be shared here directly, please add your confirmation and provide it here.

If no, welcome to let us know and we'll take the next step to collect them.

Thanks for your effort and time!

    Sincerely

    Hi Cliff,

The data source is pulled from 6 different excel workbooks, with single sheets, which are located in a folder on a shared drive, and the specific file location I can't share. I would provide examples of the data files being pulled through the query - with the expected result, but unable to do so via the line/attach function.

    Dear Blayke,

Thanks for your updates and kindness.

Please check whether you have fully removed the affected connection from Queries & Connections.

From the description "The data source is pulled from 6 different excel workbooks, with single sheets, which are located in a folder on a shared drive", it seems that you create multiple queries. If yes and if you save the affected source file on your local computer and create a new query, what's the result?

If the sample source files and the destination file can't be shared here directly, I have sent you a private message to collect the files. You can provide the files there.

You can click on Contains private messages at the top of the page to access the private message.

Thanks for your effort and time again!

    Sincerely
