Excel Attachment Hyperlinks Not Active

I used Forms for Excel to create a form and document responses in a spreadsheet. The form includes uploading files; when I look at the spreadsheet I can see hyperlinks to the uploaded files, but they are not active. The text looks like hyperlinks as they are blue and underlined, but when I hover over them the cursor doesn't change and allow me to click on them. I have found that if I double click on the cell it will enter editing mode; then if I click away from the cell and come back to it the hyperlink is now active. The cursor changes as it should and when I click on the link it works properly. How can I get the hyperlinks to be active without having to double click and edit them? I don't want the people who will be reviewing the data to have to go through that process. If it helps, the spreadsheet is on a SharePoint Site, but I also encountered the same problem when I initially set it up in OneDrive.

It seems product limitation that Excel will not automatically change the URL to Hyperlink which is a Form response for attachment.
