Paste text without the formatting

Hi,

I've been using the Office Suite for years and am well acquainted with Word, specifically. In Word 2016, I was able to personalize the way I paste text in a document and make it so the original formatting didn't follow. I've tried to do the same in Word 365 (desktop version) and it's not working. Even if the parameters are set so that I only copy and paste the text, without any formatting, the formatting still follows, no matter what.

In the "Cut, Copy and Paste" section of the Advanced options in Word, I selected "Text only" (or whatever the wording is, because I use the French version), and despite that, whenever I copy and paste something, the original formatting follows.

Does anyone have a solution for that? Thank you for your responses.

You will have select the "Show Paste Options button when content is pasted" at File > Options > Advanced, for Word to honor the default paste settings. (This is a bug.)

Thank you very much. I did it and suddenly, Word was listening.

    Thanks a lot!
