How do create a view-only link to share to a loop page which includes ALL subpages?

I have created a page to act as a landing page to several sub-pages which hold specific information.

I want to share the main page AND all its sub-pages with my colleagues. However, I don't want to share a link multiple links for every single subpage under the main page.

Is it possible to generate a single (view-only access) link that provides access to the main page and all subpages?

    Hello Willwhy

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

It seems like you are having an issue sharing the main page and all its sub-pages in Microsoft Loop with view-only access. Let's work together to find the best solution to this problem.

    You can follow these steps:

    • Navigate to the main page you want to share.
    • Click on the Share button at the top right corner of the page.
    • In the dropdown menu, select “People with existing access” or “Specific people”, depending on who you want to have access to the page.
    • Make sure the “Allow editing” checkbox is unchecked. This will make the link view-only.
    • Click on “Apply” and then “Copy link”.

This will create a view-only link for the main page. However, as of my knowledge cutoff in 2021, Microsoft Loop does not support creating a single view-only link that provides access to both the main page and all its subpages. You might need to create separate view-only links for each subpage and share them individually.

If the steps above does not work, you may report this via feedback hub. In order for our developer to work on it.

    Hello,

I have similar question with Loop and restricting access.

I'm trying to create a sort of reference manual with all sorts of educational material for my company using Loop. Of course, I don't want to allow just anyone to have editing access. After looking at the copy-link selection, I noticed that the option for “People with existing access” does not have an expiration date like the other options do.

Here you can see an expiration:

    Where here you do not:

Does this mean that if I share a link with "Only People with Existing Access" that it won't expire?

My goal would be to create loop components that are hyperlinked within a single page. Then users can click on these hyperlinks and access other components via the main page. However, if they expire after a month, per my companies policy, then unfortunately this idea wouldn't work.

If this does work, then I would assume then that I can embed links within pages, that ALSO are hyperlinked into other pages creating a sort of tree of options, no?

Thank you for your clarity in advance.

    This is a ridiculous limitation.
