Error yellow bar at top of excel document just below the DISCLAIMER for financial market information. As follows:
"COULDN'T REFRESH DATA TYPES You need to sign in with an account associated with a subscription to use these data types. Select "Sign in" at the top of Excel. Check refresh settings."
Description:
I opened my document that I had last worked with--with no issue--and saved on friday. I am trying to get my pivot tables, pivot charts, and stock data refreshed but am impeded by the error detailed above. My existing table has previous data still in it but I cannot input new stock data or refresh existing pivot tables. I managed to get the stock data and pivot tables to refresh at one point today throughout my troubleshooting but have not been able to again since. It was some time before I did any reboots or reinstalls that it briefly functioned before returning to an error state.
Troubleshooting Attempts so far:
Sign out and sign in within excel client using Subscription account.
Add other microsoft account to swap between subscription and other microsoft account.
Sign out and close skype.
Excel client > Office User info > Update License
Excel client > Office User info > Microsoft 365 and Office Updates
Close excel, turn off and turn on PC, reopen excel
Sign out of microsoft in excel, reboot pc, open excel and sign back in
Uninstall all Microsoft 365 programs, shut down PC, turn PC on, delete Office files in Microsoft file of %appdata% and local. Reinstall Microsoft 365. Sign in to excel.
System Details:
PC Windows 10 Microsoft 365 Personal subscription
Issue with Excel Version 2306 (Build 16529.20154 Click-to-Run)
I am at a loss. I do not know what to do at this point except hope for an update or that it is a connection issue--I did briefly receive a different error regarding network connection but it passed quickly and returned to the previous mentioned "couldn't refresh data types sign in".
Edit: Additional note, despite the error I am able to copy and paste existing cells with stock data type to new cells and it functions properly as if I have access to the stock data type, but I cannot take an existing cell and add the stock data type to it.

MS team please advise on how to fix the issue
Scrubtimus, I really appreciate you sharing with the Community.
Excellent. Thank you so much. I am looking forward to the update with the resolution.
In the mean time I have found workarounds in the copy+paste method of existing data types that I have from previous saves, as well as repeatedly using the refresh option on pivot tables until it winds up working despite returning an error when it does.
Thank you again, it is refreshing just to know I can stop fiddling with it.
