SharePoint Word Document Issues

Question

When I uploaded all of my word documents to SharePoint for work, The word document does not show the headers, footers, or the water mark. It shows the document as 1 continuous document with lines indicating where the header and footer are to be. The document is all screwed up as well it shows the content as all over the place meaning my bullets are either missing some times, they are on the same line with other bullets as a pose to being right below like they are supposed to be, they have broken a sentence into 2 or 3 bullets, and it looks like a messy document. When I open the PDF it is perfect as a non-editable document should be and exactly how the word document is when it is not in SharePoint.

I have deleted the documents and re-uploaded them and I have also been through the whole document settings to see if something is incorrect but found nothing. When I select the header and footer, they appear and then disappear again when I click out of it. I can also not figure out the watermark. There are 307 documents and they are all the same with the same issues.

I am also having this same issue. As you recommended above, I made sure that my document was saved as .docx and I am still having the issue. I would appreciate some help.

Thank you for posting this question in Microsoft Community.

I go through the post carefully, I am sorry for the inconvenience the issue causes.

The word document does work fine on Word Online, Could you try to check the word file formatt as DOCXor****saved asDOCX type?

Could you try to create a new DOCX file in word desktop app, then upload to SharePoint Online to verify the issue still occur or not?
