Error code 0x80190005

My excel and onedrive got logged out. When I try to log back into onedrive or excel it tells me that a parent account has disabled third party apps. This doesn't make sense since my parents didn't disable it and excel and onedrive are Microsoft apps. There is also the error code : 0x80190005. My parents have tried to go to the website that shows up with the error code (account.live.com/mk) but it doesn't work. I don't know what to do anymore.

    Hello Sun Khou

    During the posting of this question and your response my parents and I tried to remove me from the family group and then add me back to it and it solved the issue with excel and onedrive. I still don’t know why it worked but i apologize for not removing the question and wasting ur time.

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    Based on the description you posted, it seems that you have an issue with OneDrive wherein even though your parents did not disable your access to your OneDrive and Excel program. You are now getting and error code 0x80190005 when you try to sign in with these two programs.

    Let’s work together in finding the best solution to this issue.

    For me to better understand the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:

    • What is the specific domain name of the account you are currently using? Ex: @gmail.com @hotmail.com or is it @yahoo.com?

    • Have you already tried to remove your account from your Family Safety Group? And checked if it has the same behavior? ( Note: You can follow the steps here on how to remove yourself from your Family Safety Group: Leave family group or remove members - Microsoft Support)

    • Are you still able to access all other Microsoft apps other than the two programs that you have mentioned?

    In the meantime, we would like you to provide us with some answers first to the questions above. In order for us to provide you with a more accurate solution.
