Yes I did, but when trying to restore, I think I selected overwrite....
Is there any way that I can recover the backup?

I am so sorry, but Microsoft does not provide access to previous backups; only one is kept, and the previous one is overwritten.
Did you try the restore option while reinstalling the app?
