A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
I'm having the same problem. When I go to settings>account>sync folders, shared folders do not appear. There is also no such thing as a "Shared" tab.
This browser is no longer supported.

I want to be able to see shared OneDrive folders in OneDrive on my Mac. I can see them in OneDrive on my browser and have found some older support articles that say I should be able to use a "sync" option to sync to my desktop, but that option does not appear to be there. I have also found articles stating I can create a shortcut to my files, but that option does not seem to be on OneDrive browser view currently. Is there currently a way to share a folder? I have a family account and would like to make it easy to have a shared space for our files that we can access through our traditional finder view on MacOS.

Up until recently, it was working quite fine. But today all of a sudden that folder was no longer there. Instead, I only saw {folder name}.url. This was a bit disconcerting for me. I tried to look at the suggestions given, but none of them worked for me either. I hope this will be fixed soon.
I can access the folder contents via the web browser, but not in Finder which is far more convenient.
Hi, thank you for reaching out. My name is Deeksha and I'm a Microsoft user like yourself and I will try to help you as best as I can today.
Method 1: Sync Shared OneDrive Folder to Mac Open OneDrive App on Mac: If you haven't installed the OneDrive app on your Mac, download and install it from the Mac App Store. Sign in to the OneDrive app with your Microsoft account. Open OneDrive Preferences: Click on the OneDrive cloud icon in the Mac menu bar. Select "More" (three dots) > "Preferences". Go to the "Account" tab. Under "Choose Folders," click on "Choose Folders". Make sure the "Shared" tab is selected. Check the box next to the shared folder you want to sync. Click "Choose". Finish Setup: Click "OK" to start syncing the selected shared folder to your Mac.
Method 2: Create a Shortcut to Shared OneDrive Folder If you prefer to create a shortcut to the shared OneDrive folder: Open OneDrive in Browser: Go to OneDrive and sign in with your Microsoft account. Find the Shared Folder: Navigate to the shared folder you want to create a shortcut for. Add to Your OneDrive: Right-click on the shared folder. Select "Add to My OneDrive". This will add the shared folder to your OneDrive, and you should be able to access it through the OneDrive app on your Mac.
Method 3: OneDrive Family Sharing With a OneDrive Family account, you can create a shared folder that family members can access: Open OneDrive in Browser: Go to OneDrive and sign in with your Microsoft account. Click on "New" > "Folder". Name the folder and click "Create". Share the Folder: Right-click on the newly created folder. Select "Share". Enter the email addresses of your family members and click "Send". Access Shared Folder in Finder: After syncing the shared OneDrive folder to your Mac: Open Finder. Go to "OneDrive" in the sidebar. You should see the shared folder listed here, and you can access and manage it like any other folder on your Mac.
Try these steps and hopefully, it resolves your issue. In case you need further help or assistance, please let us know. You can also contact Microsoft Support if the problem persists.
Best regards Deeksha
Same issue here.
If I add a shortcut from a Shared Folder to my files I see the shared folder in the web browser, but only a file with the file name and extension '.url' appears in the local folder on my Mac.
The M$ article showing the process recognizes that there is an open issue under the paragraph OneDrive shared folders shortcuts showing up as Internet Shortcuts.
I wonder if the issue is only for Mac users and when the issue will be fixed.
Anyone with a happy ending on this?
same thing, any help with this microsoft?
